By car

Depending on where you come from, motorways give access to Val Thorens:

- From the North Dijon - Val Thorens. Motorway A6 to Mâcon and exit to Grenoble. The, continue along Grenoble/Chambéry. Close to Chambéry, continue along Albertville (A430 then N90). Exit n°40 and continue along Val Thorens.

- From the West Lyon - Val Thorens. Motorway A43 to Chambéry/Albertville. At the toll of North Chambéry, continue along Albertville (A43, A430, N90). On the N90, exit n°40 and continue along Val Thorens.

- From the South Marseille - Val Thorens. Motorway A7 to Aix-en-Provence. Take the A51 and exit to Avignon-Lyon-Sisteron. Close to Aix-en-Provence, continue along Cap-Digne-les-Bains. Exit n°23 and continue along Grenoble. Take the A480 and continue along Albertville (N87, A41, A43, A430, N90). On the N90, exit n°40 and continue along Val Thorens.
